The MON3-2W/HR is a three display high-resolution color video monitor capable of monitoring either SD-SDI or High Definition HD-SDI signals using an all digital signal processing (DSP) path in a 3U rack-size.

Each 4.

3" high-resolution wide-format LCD features dedicated recessed controls for contrast and brightness, native 16:9 aspect ratio, and selection between full 16:9 and pillar boxed 4:3 aspect ratios for SD-SDI signals.

NTSC and PAL video formats automatically detected and accommodated.

There are independent front panel power and input termination switches for each LCD display.

The LCDs are mounted in a cylinder, which allows the user to rotate the display array approximately ±30° in the vertical plane for optimum operator viewing angles.

The rear panel features two SDI inputs and two SDI outputs (buffered and equalized) on unbalanced BNC connectors and a green LED indicating the lock status of the attached SDI source signal.

A DB-25 connector on the rear panel can be interfaced to most tally systems and there are two built-in tri-color (red/green/amber) LEDs on the front panel for tally indication.
