San Francisco, CA – March 17, 2026 – Wohler Technologies Inc., a global leader in high-performance audio, video, and data monitoring solutions for broadcast, media, sports, and live production workflows, today announced a comprehensive suite of upgrades across its iSeries monitoring platform. These enhancements—available as free downloads—significantly expand audio routing flexibility, streamline immersive monitoring setups, enable fully redundant ST2110 (AES67) workflows, and introduce powerful remote and tactile control capabilities.
Delivering Simpler, More Flexible Immersive Audio Monitoring
To address the challenges of QC’ing Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 mixes without the complexity of wiring numerous analog channels and external amplifiers, Wohler has enabled the routing of 16 gain‑controlled decoded Dolby Atmos channels over Dante™ from the iAM‑12G‑SDI monitor. An additional 16 channels pass through untouched, providing a total of 32 Dante™ outputs for direct connection to Dante‑enabled speakers.
This dramatically simplifies setup, reduces analog wiring headaches, and supports a wide range of source formats—including SDI, AES, MADI, Analog, ST2110, and ST2022‑6—making it easier for operators to evaluate immersive mixes with precision and minimal infrastructure.
Strengthening ST2110 (AES67) Workflows with Out‑of‑Band NMOS Control
Modern fully redundant ST2110 (AES67) deployments require complete Out‑Of‑Band (OOB) control to avoid latency, congestion, or network‑induced failures that can interrupt hitless audio monitoring. Wohler’s iSeries monitors with the Ravenna option are now additionally equipped with Out-Of-Band NMOS control via a dedicated 1Gbps SFP interface, preventing undesirable bridging between data and control networks.
This enhancement ensures faster, more reliable device control and recovery, helping operators maintain flawless ST2110 (AES67) performance in mission‑critical environments. The upgrade is available free to existing Ravenna‑equipped customers and is included standard on all new units.
Expanded Tactile Control, Remote Operation & Improved Channel Navigation
Responding to user demand for greater front‑panel flexibility, Wohler has introduced a major upgrade to its iAM1‑MIX‑8 and iAM1‑MIX‑8‑12G monitors. Operators can now page between two banks of eight channels, enabling full monitoring of 16 channels with tactile rotary knobs—ideal for fast, intuitive on‑the‑fly adjustments.
Additional improvements include customizable color‑coded channel label backgrounds for clearer grouping and identification, plus a new simulated front‑panel interface within the unit’s built‑in webserver. This allows engineers to remotely control presets, mute/unmute channels, and adjust fader settings from anywhere on the network.
These upgrades deepen the ergonomic and operational flexibility of the MIX‑8 platform while supporting remote production models and centralized engineering workflows.
A Commitment to Customer‑Driven Innovation
Across all updates, Wohler reinforces its dedication to solving real‑world customer challenges—from simplifying immersive audio QC, to ensuring flawless IP redundancy, to expanding intuitive, operator‑friendly control options.
“Continuing our tradition of listening to our customers’ challenges and working closely with them to provide best-in-class solutions, Wohler is delighted to announce the availability of these powerful new features as an indication of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding their investments in our products”, said Amol Natekar, VP Engineering, Wohler Technologies.
All newly announced features are available immediately as free downloads for supported models and are included as standard on new units. Users can visit the Software Downloads page at www.wohler.com for access and additional upgrade guidance.
